Luma Dot Field requires Apple Silicon, macOS 13 or later, and Apple Motion 6.2+ or Final Cut Pro 12.2+. Intel is not supported yet.

  • Native FxPlug 4 + Metal renderer for Apple Motion and Final Cut Pro.
  • Regular, brick, and hexagonal packing layouts (hex on by default).
  • Edge Bleed and Pattern Offset.
  • Field camera with source locks; solid, source, and gradient dot colors.
  • Optional 3/5/7/9-frame temporal smoothing.
  • Current-user installer (Install / Update / Uninstall) — no administrator password.
  • Final Cut Pro Motion template with published parameter groups.

Known limitations

  • Apple Silicon recommended; Intel untested.
  • HDR / wide-gamut host behavior not yet documented as a guarantee.
